We are excited to announce our exclusive internship program that focuses on the application of GIS in critical domains. This program is designed for college students who are passionate about geospatial technology and want to gain hands-on experience. We provide virtual extensive summer and winter internship program in the month of May-July and November-January every year.

Internship Opportunity: Geospatial Applications in Hydrogeology, Tectonic geomorphology, Mineral Exploration and Oil and Gas.

Eligibility criteria and other details about the program :

The following candidates are eligible to apply for the Internship Scheme:
  1. The candidate should be a Citizen of India;
  2. The candidate should be pursuing UG/ PG from a recognized University/Institution , or
  3. The candidates should have just completed UG/PG from a recognized University/Institution, seeking an internship opportunity (within six months from the date of award of degree) for profile enhancement.
  4. The candidate should possess an aggregate of Min. 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10 at all levels.
  5. The disciplines from which the applications invited are Geology, Geophysics, Atmospheric Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, Geography, Hydrogeology, Geo-informatics, Remote Sensing and related subjects.

Quest GIS Internship Program

  1. Name of scheme: Quest GIS Summer Internship Program 2025 (Applications are open!)
  2. The internship will be purely on the paid basis.
  3. The selected candidate must pay fee to Quest GIS to earn the executive internship program certificate.
  4. Period: The internship duration is set to  minimum of one month and maximum of two months . Interns who do not complete the stipulated period will not receive an internship certificate.”

5. Experience Certificate: A certificate regarding successful completion of internship shall be issued by the authority of the Quest GIS  followed by an assignments, interview or group discussions if required. Certificate of completion will be issued to candidates, only one meets the below requirements. This will ensure the high quality of the internship and can guarantee the knowledge gained by each intern.”

  •  Complete and correct submission of assignments as instructed during internship.
  •  80% score in a final quiz.
  •  The intern should have a minimum of 75% attendance.
  • The intern should submit Final report of the program.

Application Process and condition for applicants:

     1. Application Process:

    • Prospective interns should submit their applications through our official website Apply here, adhering to the specified deadline.
    • Applications must include an updated CV, NOC (No objection certificate), passport size photo, ID proof (college ID or Aadhar Card) payment proof.
    • Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
    • Selection Criteria:
      • Our selection process evaluates candidates based on academic performance, relevant skills, and alignment with the internship’s objectives.
      • A panel of experts will review applications and conduct interviews if necessary.

2. Internship Agreement:

    • Selected interns will be required to sign an internship agreement that outlines roles, responsibilities, and confidentiality clauses.
    • Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) may apply, especially if interns work on sensitive projects.

3. Performance Expectations:

    • Interns are expected to actively participate, contribute to projects, and meet deadlines.
    • Regular progress reports and evaluations will ensure a productive experience.

4. Certificate Issuance:

    • Successful completion of the internship will lead to the issuance of an internship experience certificate (see Quest GIS Internship Scheme section for criteria).
    • Interns who fulfill all requirements will receive a personalized certificate highlighting their achievements.
